Ned Collette takes off withJoanna Newsom

After two very successful Australian dates as her support artist, Ned Collette has been asked by  indie-darling Joanna  Newsom to again play with her on four of her upcoming  European dates. However before he heads OS Collette will perform a series of solo dates around Australia this March

Ned has also been invited to play at the prestigious NXNE  Festival in Toronto, Canada which runs from June 7-9th. A  Canadian and East Coast US tour will be scheduled around  this showcase. 

Collette is currently recording his follow-up to 2006’s Jokes and  Trials in studios around Melbourne with fellow CityCityCity  band member Joe Talia and his live soundman Matt Maddock engineering. A July 2007 release for the as yet untitled album  is slated.
