Alexisonfire Australian Tour

The hottest news of the day is undoubtedly the announcement of an Australian tour by Ontario’s indie rock gods – Alexisonfire.

Since their self titled debut release in 2002 the band have built a solid reputation for their quirky lyricism and explosive live performances.

Their latest album Crisis (Distort, through Shock Records in Australia) debuted #1 in Canada and a healthy number 34 in Australia racking up sales of over 100,000 (platinum).

Supporting Alexisonfire on their upcoming Australian tour will be fellow Canadians, Moneen, following the release of their split CDEP w/Alexisonfire The Switcheroo Series  and album  Are We Really Happy With Who We Are Right Now. Also on board for the ride is New Zealand’s Blindspott. Tickets on sale Feb 16.
