Croxton Records descends upon the courtyard of St Kilda record store Pure Pop to showcase some fine melodic roots music this Sunday for the St Kilda Festival.

Label boss Mick Thomas will headline with songs from the Croxton Records catalogue, donning a slinky frock to cover tunes from Sarah Carroll, a suave new blue button-down suit for some Marcel Borrack tracks and very reluctantly wrapping a Collingwood scarf around his neck to play the sweet sounds of Dan Warner(now there’s commitment from a St Kilda supporter!).

Kicking off at 3pm are Ballarat’s favourite sons The Underminers who will preview tracks from their album Beyond The Stars(released next month on Croxton Records, and Mrs. Wainwright (ex-GIT gal Trish Anderson and band) playing songs from her forthcoming album produced by Mick Thomas and Craig Pilkington.

Head to Pure Pop this Sunday at 221 Barkly Street St Kilda.
