Pete Molinari, the Grassroots Street Orchestra and the Ben Whitecross Band are just some of the additions to the massive musical event that will be accompanying the Quicksilver Pro festival. Punters rocking up to the Pro Show can also expect to see performances from the Black Market Rhythm Co and Rubber Johnson as well as DJ performances from Basmati, Sampology and Kristian Hernandez.
Organisers say to expect a day of laidback surf tunes right on the sand, promising that those attending will be able to ride straight out of the waves and into one of the biggest beach parties ever seen on the Gold Coast. Acts already announced for the party include The Beautiful Girls, The Herd, Ash Grunwald, The Winnie Coopers, Rogerthat, Beau Young and Band Of Frequencies.
Set only 50 metres from Duranbah Beach, the Pro Show is an all-ages outdoor music festival and will also host appearances by participating Top 44 surfers from the Quiksilver Pro, exclusive surf films, food stalls, rides, and the D-Bar with live DJ’s. Tickets are $33 and it runs from 2pm – 10pm on Saturday 3rd March.
