Dead Frenchmen set for Marchtour
Sun 4th Feb, 2007 in Local News
To celebrate the release of their debut album Wonderland, Dead Frenchmen will play a national headlining tour throughout next month.
Dead Frenchmen have already released their first EP When Ghosts Take Over and scored a Triple J Next Crop artist accolade in 2005. In support of their wins, Dead Frenchmen have spent the past two years touring with the likes of The Morning After Girls, Midnight Juggernauts, The Howling Bells, Pharaohs and The Redsunband.
Wonderland is set for release on February 10 through Timberyard Records and was recorded in less than two weeks at Birdland Studios in Melbourne. Revealing traces of Morrissey, Joy Division, Swervedriver, Interpol and Echo and The Bunnymen, Dead Frenchmen’s simmering vocals are matched with cascading guitars and edgy beats.
