As if next month’s Bon Scott Celebration Concert wasn’t big enough already, organisers have confirmed two more acts for the tribute gig at Claremont Showgrounds. Fresh from Perth’s pubs and clubs, The Volcanics and Sure-Fire Midnights will join the party at the February 25 gig.
Entering their fifth year, The Volcanics have made a name for themselves playing around town and are renowned for their live performances. With a string of singles and EPs under their collective belt, the four-piece will have no trouble holding their own when playing alongside the headline acts. Compared to The Volcanics, Sure-Fire Midnights are fairly new to the scene but they’ve wasted no time in building their reputation as one of the one of the loudest bands on the scene.
The pair join a bill that already includes headliners The Angels, Rose Tattoo and The Party Boys - an all-star band featuring past and present members of various bands on the bill. The Screaming Jets and Dave Warner also add to the action, while The Kill Devil Hills and The Flairz will play early on.
Tickets for the show are on sale now and are available through www.heatseeker.com.au.
