WAMi Festival organisers have confirmed the list of artists to perform at the 2007 WAMi Awards night. Eskimo Joe, Little Birdy and The Stems will line up at the Beck’s Verandah on February 21, for a show that will also feature performances from Double Entendre, Dave Hole and DJ Matty P.
As previously reported on FasterLouder, Eskimo Joe picked up a swag of nominations earlier this month and will no doubt be taking a few WAMington cakes home with them. The band are just wrapping up yet another Big Day Out tour and are still celebrating the success of their third album, Black Fingernails, Red Wine.
Little Birdy picked up four nominations for this year’s awards and will also perform the event. Slide guitar legend Dave Hole joins the bill, as do Double Entendre and indie legends The Stems.
The ceremony is open to the general public, with tickets available now through www.heatseeker.com.au. Stay tuned to FasterLouder for news of all the winners and grinners.
