Getting to and from the BDO

The Big Day Out  is set to thrill audiences in Adelaide on Friday February 2, with a stellar line up of international and local artists. To follow is an outline of important transport information for those travelling to and from the event via public transport. 

TRAIN

All trains on the Belair and Noarlunga lines after 10:00am will stop at Keswick Station. From there it’s just a 10-minute walk to the venue. Normal timetables apply.

TRAM

Trams run from Victoria Square to Goodwood approximately every 15 minutes. The last tram departs Victoria Square for Glenelg at 12:00 midnight. Normal timetables apply.

CITY BUS     

All the usual bus timetables along Goodwood Road apply. All Express and F services will also stop on Goodwood Road. Get off at stop 2 and walk to Rose Terrace entrance.

BIG DAY OUT SHUTTLE BUS   

Go to Currie Street stop V1 between 10:00am and 2:00pm and you wont have to wait more than 10mins for a bus straight to the showgrounds. Buses returning to the city will depart from Greenhill Road stop 1C (straight through from the BDO entrance) every 10 minutes from 3:00pm until midnight.

TAXI

An extended taxi rank will operate on the southern side of Rose Terrace.
