Hatebreed confirmed forMelbourne show
Thu 18th Jan, 2007 in Local News
Hatebreed blend shout-along lyrics and musical economy of the hardcore genre with a metal sensibility, combining breakneck-speed riffs with slower, more churning sounds. Jamey Jasta’s harsh, guttural growls hammer through solid waves of savage, frenetic guitar. The rhythms are tight and intense with their lyrical rage carrying a philosophical onslaught of fierce, powerful thought.
Joining Hatebreed is none other than Terror, a band that has cemented their status as guardians of old-school hardcore ethics while winning the pit fervour of the new generation of metal and hardcore fans. Ignoring current musical trends, the L.A. based band have stuck to their guns playing aggro, no frills, breakneck hardcore with the ragged metal-tinged guitars, rapid fire drum lines, slithering bass lines and double-fisted vocal attacks that characterise their trademark sound.
These bands guarantee to give their all live, ensuring that these select club shows are not for the faint at heart and most definitely not to be missed. To entice you even more, Australia’s true kings of hardcore – Melbourne’s very own Mindsnare – will be joining the ranks for what will prove to be one of the most brutal events the Hifi has ever seen!
