Regurgitator and The Audreysconfirmed for St KildaFestival

ARIA winners, The Audreys and Festival favourites, Regurgitator have just been added to the massive lineup for the MAX Beach Concert on St Kilda Festival Day, February 11.

This year, the lineup for the St Kilda Festival is set to be even bigger and better for the free live music happening throughout the Festival from February 3 to 11.

South Australia’s The Audreys feature the sultry voiced Taasha Coates, her four dapper suited boys and an array of banjos, ukuleles, guitars, violin, double bass and drums. Their debut album Between Last Night and Us, released in February 2006 won them an ARIA Award for Best Blues & Roots Album, and singles ‘Oh Honey’, ‘You and Steve McQueen’ and ‘Don’t Change’ have been heard on the airwaves throughout the country. The band spent May, June and July of last year touring Europe and Canada before returning to do a national tour of Australia. A favourite at festivals and clubs alike, their shows are exquisite, enchanting and always unforgettable and their addition to the St Kilda Festival line up is highly anticipated.

The guys from Regurgitator have taken a year or so off working on various solo projects since their last national tour in 2005. The ‘gurge have again set their sites on the road, partaking in a short excursion trip to a couple of Australian cities prior to tours to Japan, Hong Kong and Brazil in the coming year. 2007 also see the release of Mishmash in Brazil. The St Kilda Festival welcomes Regurgitator back to the Max Beach stage for yet another massive day of music.

The MAX Beach Concert will feature Custom Kings, Mick Thomas & The Sure Thing, Blue King Brown, The Audreys, Regurgitator, Airbourne, Dallas Crane and Bliss N Eso on the St Kilda Beach Foreshore from 12.15pm to 10.00pm on February 11.
