Bright Yellow say love hurts

Bright Yellow produce music that reminds me of a bottle of Passion Pop – sugary but leaving behind one hell of a bang. So I’m pretty pleased to hear that the act – which recently signed to Boundary Sounds will be releasing a brand spanking, so shiny and new it hurts, EP, Love’s Not a Comfort.
Exploring themes of love and betrayal and the many highways of the human heart the EP captures the band’s gritty grunge aesthetic and heartfelt harmonies.
Produced by Matt Lovell (Silverchair, The Mess Hall, Something For Kate), and mixed by James Cadsky (Bumblebeez, Young and Restless), Love’s Not A Comfort is an exciting introduction to a band that will be making more than a few waves in the coming years.
The first song off the EP Outa My Soul has been kicking goals on FBi and
3RRR. While recent tours with the Sick Puppies and Josh Pyke have added to the band’s reputation as ‘one to watch’.
