National tour confirmed forCarpathian
Thu 4th Jan, 2007 in Local News
Melbourne’s Carpathian have soared in popularity since their formation in 2003. With endless touring and support slots for the likes of Atreyu, Bleeding Through, As I Lay Dying, Evergreen Terrace, On Broken Wings, Comeback Kid, Parkway Drive and I Killed The Prom Queen crediting their name, Carpathian have attained quite a live stronghold in the Aussie hardcore community.
2006 brought a line up change which saw vocalist Marty Kirby switching to guitar then enrolling the services of ex I Killed The Prom Queen vocalist Michael Crafter. The new line-up has already cemented itself in a comfortable position, allowing Carpathian to surge into 2007. Their debut album Nothing To Lose will be released in the UK with a subsequent tour in the pipeworks for March.
Before Carpathian head to the UK, they’ll be ripping up stages across Australian cities and regional centres during January and February. The tour is gearing up to be one of the summer’s best, featuring many of the country’s esteemed hardcore bands including Parkway Drive and 50 Lions, as well as a welcomed return to the live scene for Australia’s true kings of hardcore, Mindsnare.
