Tapes 'n Tapes' gear stolen inPerth

No more than 24 hours after finishing their world tour, Tapes ‘n Tapes were dealt the cruelest of blows. Almost all of the band’s belongings were taken from their van while it was parked at City Beach last Friday (December 15).
The band had been touring non-stop for almost two years and wrapped it up with an intimate gig at Perth’s Amplifier Bar with a set heavy on tracks from acclaimed album The Loon.
But the celebration of a successful tour was short-lived, as the band had thousands of dollars’ worth of possessions stolen, including cash, passports and thousands of photos taken over 2005 and 2006.
