The Great Escape - firstline-up announced

The rumours are true -  The Great Escape is back again in 2007 with a new improved festival that will be sure to deliver a smashing Easter experience and FasterLouder have jumped on board for the ride.

Set up camp, book into the tent hotel or come and hang out for the day.

The Great Escape 2007 delivers a pristine festival experience in teh tradition of Falls or Coachella – yet it’s only twenty minutes from the city.  Set amongst the rolling hills and historic bunkers of the newington armory, a riverfront haven in Sydney’s Olympic Park, The Great Escape will transform the site to present a premier music festival.

The Great Escape features stacks of leading international and Aussie acts playing for your plesaure over three non-stop days and nights.

So this Easter, ditch your rellies, grab your mates, nab a tent, pack your car and make your Great Escape over the Easter long weekend.

The line-up:
Wolfmother, (their only Sydney gig), Gomez, Missy Higgins, The Living End, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Feist, The Hilltop Hoods, The Vines, Bob Evans, Fishbone, Lee Scratch Perry, Ziggy Marley, Ben Kweller, The Fumes with more to be announced.
