Streetlight prepare to attack
Sun 26th Nov, 2006 in Local News
After winning this year’s Next Big Thing competition, Streetlight have been busy recording. And with Attack That Gentleman ready for release, the band are getting ready to mark the occasion at venues around the city in December.
The six-piece kick things off at the Amplifier Bar on Saturday December 2 with support from Eleventh He Reches London, Fall Electric and the Dee Dee Dums. The following day, they headline the all-ages edition of Love Like Violence at the Artrage Bakery in Northbridge. Eleventh He Reaches London and the Dee Dee Dums will join the bill again, with The Colors also joining the bill.
They’ll head to the Swan Basement in North Fremantle on Thursday December 7 for a gig with Tapes in the Fire and The City Watch. The band will continue working their way through Perth’s South as they head to Player’s Bar in Mandurah on the 12th (all ages, with Screams for Dylan) and an all ages gig at The Vault in Booragoon (December 13) and then head back to Player’s for an 18+ show on the 14th.
Things wrap up on December 16 when they head the lineup at Mundaring Hall, with support provided by the Dee Dee Dums, The Remedials and Todd Pickett.
