West Coast Blues and Roots:lineup announced

Hot on the heels of the first lineup announcement from its East Coast cousin, the 2007 West Coast Blues and Roots Festival bill has been revealed.

The event will kick off on Saturday March 31 on the Fremantle Esplanade with Dave Matthews Band topping the bill. Wolfmother and Gomez also join the party, with Ben Kweller and hip-hop legends The Roots also due to perform.

The festival kicks on into Sunday April 1 with The Waifs, Missy Higgins and Bo Diddley locked in. And to close the weekend, John Mayer and then Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals will hit the main stage, wrapping up what’s set to be the festival’s biggest year yet.

Presale tickets are on sale from December 4-7 and cost $100+bf per day or $160+bf for the weekend. Standard rates are $105+bf per day and $170+bf for the full weekend.
