Street Drum Corps to joinAiden on tour

LA  musicians, Street Drum Corps (SDC) has been confirmed as the international support on Aiden’s upcoming tour of Australia.

The phenomenon of street drumming first came about in the early ninties – where percussionists took to the streets and busked for spare change – drumming on found objects; everything from rubbish bins to hubcaps to plastic buckets became instruments to these innovative musicians.

Street Drum Corps (percussionists Bobby Alt (S.T.U.N., Faculty X), Adam Alt(Circus Minor) and Frank Zummo (The Start)) have taken this formula and turned it on its head. Like a punk rock version of Stomp, SDC combine tightly choreographed street drumming with catchy pop-punk tunes.

Street Drum Corps will join Seattle’s latest rising stars, Aiden, on their shows in Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane. Tickets on sale now.
