Buddy movies always seem to have unhappy endings, fortunately musical pairings and gal pal road trips usually work out much better for all concerned. So it is with great pleasure that I announce two of my fave indie singers, Jen Cloher and Laura Veirs are about to embark on a great big adventure taking in show dates across the East Coast and then a quick skeddadle across country to visit our WA neighbours.

With her critically acclaimed album Dead Wood Falls still flying off the shelves all over the country, there is no doubting the appeal of Jen Cloher’s  heartfelt rock numbers. The ARIA nominated artist’s double headline tour with Veirs is sure to find her more converts.

If you want to join these talented chanteuse’s army of fans make sure you scoot along to one of the following gigs to show your allegiance:

The Basement, Sydney on Thursday 18 January,
The Zoo, Brisbane on Friday 19 January,
The Corner Hotel, Melbourne on Tuesday 23 January, and
The Hyde Park Hotel Backroom, Perth on Wednesday 24 January.

Cloher will also appear at The Harvest Festival in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula over the weekend of January 20-21.
