Saul Williams tour datesannounced

Hip hop artist, beat poet, peace activist, occasional actor and acclaimed musician, Saul Williams will return to Sydney this summer for a series of concerts to promote his new album.
Williams, a long time proponent of peace has been a busy fellow since he last graced our shores (Sydney Festival 2004), drafting the Pledge of Resistance, (against the war in Iraq); starring in a new movie Lakwanna Blues; lecturing at NYU, Cornell and Harvard as well as putting the finishing touches to his latest release, a self titled album that runs the gamut from screamo to hip hop.
Says Williams: “the tracks range from politics to relationships and the politics of relationships. What I ended up with was something that captured the authoritative cool of hip- hop, the playful angst of rock and roll, the raw emotional torment of emo (and, my favorite, “screamo”), and the fuck-off-ness of punk.”.
In December Williams lands in Australia for a series of intimate performances. Catch him on one of the following dates:
