Hawksley Workman tourannounced
Wed 27th Sep, 2006 in Local News
Canadian singer/songwriter Hawksley Workman continues his love affair with all things Australian, planning a national tour of the land down under this November.
Workman first came to the attention of Australian audiences in 2005 when he landed here for a national tour, supporting fellow Canadian Serena Ryder.
Aussie audiences immediately embraced Workman’s folk rock guitar noodlings, with Workman quickly picking up a support slot with local hero Lior. A national tour of his own followed and his album, Lover/Fighter started rocketing up the charts with the single Smoke Baby going into high rotation.
Now Workman has another national tour of Australia in his sights.
Catch him as he makes his fifth visit to Australia in a year in support of his new album Treeful of Starling (out now through Universal)
