Brissie's Vegas Kings travelSouth for the winter
Fri 18th Aug, 2006 in Local News
Fans of dirty blues tinged foot stomping rock ‘n’ roll will be clapping their hands and jumping for joy, maybe even doing a bit of a twist and shout at the news that Brissie three piece Vegas Kings will be taking a trip down South.
Vegas Kings have bashed audiences all over Australia with their two guitar and drums lineup for the past six years, mutilating guitars in keys of E, A and D.
Since their 2003 debut For Those Who Came In Late… went into high rotation on JJJ, the band have been sharing the stage country wide with many great national and international acts, such as the Black Keys, The Raveonettes and The Soledad Brothers.
2006 sees Vegas Kings preparing to release their second album Dead Money. The album was produced by Chet Weise from American garage blues legends The Immortal Lee County Killers and engineered by Loki Lockwood of Spooky Records, (responsible for recordings for The Drones, Spencer P. Jones and The Beasts of Bourbon).
This month Vegas Kings hit the road in support of their sophomore effort – get along to one of their gigs and see what all the fuss is about.
