Tim Finn to release new studioalbum
Fri 18th Aug, 2006 in Local News
Having spent the last few months cloistered away in the studio, New Zealand’s favourite son, Tim Finn is set to release a new album, Imaginary Kingdom, with the first single, ‘Couldn’t Be Done’ to drop into the airwaves next week.
Imaginary Kingdom will be released commercially in October with a bonus disc version featuring well known Tim Finn/Finn Bros songs uniquely re-worked and filmed, including the Phil Judd/Split Enz classic ‘Time for a Change’, ‘Poor Boy’, ‘I Hope I Never’ and ‘Not Even Close’.
If the recent sold out Split Enz concerts aren’t enough to attest to the Finn Brothers resurrgence in popularity – just look to the sales of their recent releases – the Finn Brothers album Everyone is Here and the tribute album She Will Have Her Way, the Finn’s are more popular than ever. No doubt this CD will walk off the shelves.
