Live’s Melbourne gig at the Palais went on sale this morning and much to the dismay of fans, sold out in minutes. Disappointed? Never fear, promoter Michael Coppel has secured a second Melbourne date – and tix are on sale now.

The tour marks Live’s seventh appearance in Australia. This time around the band will be promoting songs off their seventh studio album, Songs From Black Mountain.

In the 15 years since Live burst onto the scene with their classic album Mental Jewelry, Live have become a force in the world of guitar driven rock. Frontman Ed Kowalczyk is synonymous with passionate performance and inspiring lyrics and has helped drive Live to the top of the charts, with seven multi-platinum releases.

Joining Live as they charge stages around Australia will be local artist Shannon Noll.
