Fireballs set rockabilly punkaflame
Tue 8th Aug, 2006 in Local News
What do you do when Moterhead and Motley Crue beg your band to reform and join you on tour? Say ‘yes’ of course – at least that is what rockabilly punksters Fireballs did, breaking their 8 year hiatus to head out on the road with the acts last year.
Now ten months later Fireballs return to Sydney after near on a decade to deliver a special one-off gig to celebrate the re-release of the band’s extensive back catalogue.
Fresh from their appearance at Japan’s largest punk/rockabilly festival, Eddie Fury (drums, lead vocals), Joe Phantom (double bass, vocals) and Matt Black (guitar, vocals) promise to electrify their audience with their unique blend of punk, heavy metal and ‘50’s rock ’ n roll.
