With their self titled EP garnering all kinds of good press, and the support for INXS in the bag, Melbourne four-piece The Sparrows are looking like one of the bands to watch over the coming months. You don’t score praise like “catchy as hell”, “swaggering rock” or “faultless” for no reason…

A true ‘rock n roll’ outfit  that is not afraid to show their roots; The Sparrows are often likened to blues influenced rock bands stemming from the 60s and 70s such as Humble Pie, The Rolling Stones, and The Faces.

The next few months will see The Sparrows find the time to record their debut album; but first up, an East Coast Tour.

Thursday September 7 – The Big Top at Luna Park in Sydney -  supporting INXS.
Monday September 18 – The Palais Theatre in Melbourne – supporting INXS.
