Fear Factory and DevilDrivergrace Australian shores

With their 1992 debut album, Soul Of A New Machine*, Fear Factory seemingly appeared overnight; blowing through town with all the fury of a hurricane, altering all in its path and changing the face of heavy music forever. With each subsequent release the band have fused new elements into their juggernaut, constantly evolving.

During a time in modern rock when sameness is celebrated over substance and innovation has been all but forgotten, Fear Factory remains a pioneering force. Their music is expressively human in a way that is paradoxical; so mechanical, so precise, yet so romantic and grandiose.

With Burton C Bell at the helm spitting out his guttural death growls with haunting overtones, Fear Factory are back, touring at their peak and on the back of their current album Archetype.

Archetype is a rousing return for Fear Factory…with something new to rail against, theyre revitalized and newly furious All Music Guide.

Fear Factory returns to Australia this September, not to remind us of their legacy – but to prove, once gain, that their status as metal’s greatest live performers remains unsurpassed.

Joining them as special guest is DevilDriver, a band with a well deserved reputation, unquestionable pedigree and under any other circumstances headliner in their own right.

Deriving their name from the bells witches used to drive away evil when casting spells, DevilDriver is the brainchild of Coal Chamber vocalist Dez Fafara. A visceral brand of Death and Thrash Metal that simply destroys: full on and ferocious. With Coal Chamber failing to make it to Australia, Dezs patented shrill growl will be on riotous display for the first time.
