The Longest Night appeal

Open Family will hold The Longest Night Appeal in June to raise awareness about issues of youth homelessness. Now in its second year, the campaign which takes place on the Winter Solstice endeavours to raise money for the young homeless of the state.
On the same evening, the rock industry will be doing their bit to kick in by holding Rock’s Longest Night. Taking place at the Prince of Wales Hotel in St Kilda, funds raised from the concert will go to Open Family.
Bands slated to perform on the night are: Killing Heidi, The Inches, Window, Mo Black, Shifter, Husky Gawanda and Puppetman.
So when is the ‘Longest Night’? June 21 – tix are $15. Doors open 7pm.
