Snow Patrol sideshowsannounced

Interesting fact number one: They may be Scotland’s most famous export of the moment, yet Dundee band Snow Patrol originally had no Scottish members…it wasn’t ‘til original band member Mark McClelland quit the band in 2005 that they got their first genuine Scottish member in long time collaborator, Tom Simpson.
Interesting fact number two: the band was originally called Polar Bear – but had to change their name as the band name was already taken by a side project of Jane’s Addiction. A friend christened them Snow Patrol.
Interesting fact number three: Snow Patrol have added two sideshows to their Splendour gig. Lucky Melbourne and Sydney fans can now grab a taste of delicious Snow Patrol goodness when Frontier Touring and FasterLouder present two shows this July.

Tuesday July 25 – The Metro Theatre, Melbourne
