Hard-Fi to Rock Down Under

After the success of last year’s Stars of CCTV album, Hard-Fi proclaimed themselves as the heir apparent of the punkpop crown. With an Australian tour now in the wings, local punters will soon discover why they are indeed the princes’ of post pop punk.

With tracks like ‘Cash Machine’ cementing the band’s reputation for infectious basslines and Clash inspired hooks, Hard-Fi have quickly become known for their heady lyrics and fast tempo-ed songs.  Fusing melodic pop with a punk attitude, the groups oft-times bleak lyrics off-set their angular rhythms and ker-thumping bass to deliver a dose of musical mania.

Hard-Fi is already earmarked for a big bright future – the band sold over 600,000 copies of their debut album and were nominated for UK Album of the Year, as well as scoring a nom in the Brit Awards for Best British Group and Best Rock Act…

Not bad eh? And that was all before breakfast… Local fans eager to stomp their feet and shake their arses to the band’s blend of disco, punk, rock and dub should mark the following dates in their diary

There are probably at least 2000 fans of Hard-Fi in Adelaide, playing at The Gov or similar will fill up. Sounds promising for a 'good' promoter! Can't wait till you guys make the right decision. j
