If the cold weather is getting the better of you and you’re feeling a little woeful, why not lift your spirits and grab a dose of Bridie O’Brien’s blues and roots when she lands at the Vanguard this June.

With a debut album Soft Side of The Dark about to launch and an East Coast Tour on the way, this is the last chance Sydneysiders will have to see O’Brien for some time.

An outstanding blues and roots guitarist, OBrien’s vocals have been decribed variously as ‘honey dusted’ and her music an “evocative sepia toned blend of blues and roots”.
