The Nescafe Big Break Is Back
Wed 5th Apr, 2006 in Local News
We’re already well on our way through another year, and hopefully you’re still brimming with optimism at what the future holds for you in 2006. One of the most exciting comps held each year in Australia that helps fund the development of artists’ dreams is the Nescafe Big Break, and details have been announced for this year’s program.
The annual grab for cash sees artists, management hopefuls, event organisers in the music industry and more, all enter the Big Break for their chance to win an exciting package, including a substantial cash grant.
The program has been running strong since 1990 and has seen Melbourne band The Hovercrafts, John Foreman, opera composer Adam Yee, Duality Records, The Davidson Brothers and indie label Below Par Records, all lifted off the ground.
This year organisers hope to see the most musically diverse entries they’ve had yet, remember everyone’s up for a chance, so what have you got to lose? Submissions for the 2006 Big Break close on May 5, more details can be found by logging onto http://www.nescafebigbreak.com.au.
