Sydney's Kings Cross Hotel ToClose

Sydney’s Kings Cross Hotel is set to close at the end of February for renovations.

The venue, which has hosted the award winning Indie/Britpop night Loaded for seven years; and Sydney’s leading alternative nightclub Blink for two years, will close for much needed and extensive renovations.

Club Blink’s last night at the venue will be on the 15th February, and will debut at a new venue, the Agincourt Hotel, on the 24th February.

Loaded’s last night will be on the 16th Feburary, there has been no mention of a replacement venue yet.

This is most definitely one of the saddest days of my life! The awesome tracks, pinball machines, friendly djs, free cds, cheap drinks... i'm gonna miss them all! I've never been to a indie night that is as down-to-earth and casual as Loaded!
