Thought Criminals One OffReunion Show
Tue 13th Dec, 2005 in Local News
Legendary Sydney punk outfit The Though Criminals are reforming for a very special one-off show at The Annandale on 4 February 2006.
The Thought Criminals short-lived career spanned from 1977 until 1980 but their influence lived on well beyond their life as a band. Their live shows were legendary and they left behind a library of treasured releases on their own Doublethink label including the EPs Hilton Bomber and Food for Thoughcrimes along with the albums Speed, Madness and Flying Saucers and You Only Think Twice.
Members of the Thought Criminals have surfaced in various other bands since their demise including Do Re Mi, The New Christs and Died Pretty.
The Annandale show will be the first time the Thought Criminals have graced a stage in over 25 years and will coincide with the release of a two CD anthology featuring all the material they recorded for Doublethink.
Anyone who wants to catch one of the seminal punk/independent bands from Sydney won’t be thinking twice about getting to this show. Tickets go on sale from The Annandale, Friday, 16 December for $20 plus booking fee.
