One of the more interesting boutique record company and distributors on our local landscape is Reverberation - the label has supported many talented independent artists – both from these shores and internationally. To celebrate a great year and to gather together some of their favourite artists, The Reverberation Weekender will be happening on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th November and held at the illustrious Hopetoun Hotel in Surry Hills.
Appearing on Friday will be Melbourne’s Season, followed by Brisbane’s Iron On, we swing west next for Western Australians, Children Collide and the awe-inspiring The Fuzz and ending on an even louder note with Giants of Science.
Saturday afternoon will see the audience chilling out to The Gin Club and The Kill Devil Hills along with the Reverberation crew playing you some of their records from their dusty collection whilst the barbeque soothes your tummy rumbles.
The evening opens with Subaudible Hum, Mexico City and The Golden Age get you in the mood for more, and there’s more – yes, it’s Sydney’s favourites Holy Soul previewing their debut long player, Sign Of The Triangle. Headlining the night will be Dave Graney and Clare Moore with their backing group The Lurid Yellow Mist.
There will be weekend passes available for $20 and come with a free label sampler, otherwise it’s $12 for Friday and $15 for Saturday. Check out the Reverberation Weekender and show your support for a label who is doing their damnedest to support talented artists.
