Cradle Of Filth tour in May
Sun 17th Feb, 2013 in Local News
UK Gothic black metal legends Cradle Of Filth will return in May to tour and shock your mothers.
Since forming in 1991 Cradle of Filth have courted controversy with their shock-tactics – including t-shirts featuring pictures of nuns masturbating -, and have released 10 albums including their new record The Manticore and Other Horrors.
Singer Dani Filth describes the new album as their “tenth commandment in metal” and says that the band has “diversified and kept alive the spirit of this band and breathed it into something that I can proudly say, slays like an absolute motherfucker.”
Since their last Australian visit in 2009 the band has also released the Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa album and dropped long time bassist Dave Pybus from the lineup.
Cradle of Filth tour:
Thursday, May 9 –HiFi, Brisbane
Friday, May 10 –Palace Theatre, Melbourne
Saturday, May 11 –UNSW Roundhouse, Sydney
Sunday, May 12 –Metropolis, Fremantle
Tickets on sale Monday, February 25.
