The Scoop: Foals returning to Australia in September?
Foals bassist Walter Gervers revealed that the band is planning to return to Australia in September or October for “a proper tour”. Currently in the country for Big Day Out, the Oxford six-piece left many fans wanting announcing only two additional shows of their own, both in Sydney. However, in an interview with FL Gervers said that when Foals return later in the year it will be to play a national run of headline dates. Read about their plans here

The Tour: The Gaslight Anthem
New Jersey quartet The Gaslight Anthem will return to Australia in May to tour their new album Handwritten with shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. The tour will be the third Australian visit from the band following tours in 2008 and a return with Soundwave Festival in 2011. That first visit way back in 2008 saw the band playing shows at intimate venues including the Annandale in Sydney, Arthouse in Melbourne and Rosies in Brisbane.
