St Kilda Festival lineup 2013announced

The St Kilda Festival has just released its full list of acts for its 2013 festival, following on from their initial announcement that Bluejuice and Midnight Juggernauts would headline the proceedings on the final day of the festival – Sunday, February 10.

Other main stage acts include Oh Mercy, Ash Grunwald, and Peter Combe and The Quirky Berserkey Newspaper Mama Band with a surprise act taking to the stage at sunset. The O’Donnell Gardens Stage will feature the Royal Jelly Dixieland Band, Eagle and The Worm, Grey Ghost, Hiatus Kaiyote, The Cactus Channel, Loon Lake, Northeast Party House and The BamboosKylie Auldist. While the Alfred Square Stage plays host to Thelma Plum, Kutcha Edwards, The Quarry Mountain Dead Rats, Mojo Juju and Abbie Cardwell.

Over on the New Music Stage you can catch showcases of unsigned bands including Buckley Ward, Shaun Kirk, Animaux, Warning Birds, Roscoe James Irwin, The Twoks, Stillwater Giants, Client Liaison, Straylove and Sub Atari Knives. One of these New Music stage acts will win $5,000 and the chance to play the Festival main stage in 2014 in the festival’s punter voted band competition.

The full lineup festures more than 70 acts over eight stages. Last year’s lineup featured Miami Horror, Alpine, Worlds End Press and British India.

this must mean Pink Floyd right? Hello Hello Is there anybody in there???

realistically it's either Missy Higgins or The Cat Empire, would probably prefer Missy.
