Get your highlighters out – the playtimes for Southbound 2013 are here for your scheduling and circling pleasure. The promoters promise that they have done their best to avoid truly nasty clashes, but with a multistage event some are inevitable.
After warming up for Southbound with shows at Falls Festival in Lorne and Marion Bay, Wayne Coyne and his Fearless Freaks, Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist and his besuited Hives, and some of your favourite headdress-wearing dance acts – SBTRKT and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs – will make their way out west for Southbound 2013. They’ll be joined by Bombay Bicycle Club, Django Django, Hot Chip, Sharon Van Etten and Best Coast.
Southbound Festival will take place at Sir Stewart Bovell Park, Busselton, on January 4 and 5.
