Last chance to win a PassionPit house party
Thu 20th Sep, 2012 in Local News
If you want to be the envy of your mates and host a huge house party starring electro-pop outfit Passion Pit playing in your backyard you need to get your name in the competition barrel now. Time is running out – entries close at midnight tomorrow, Friday September 21.
FL and Parklife are teaming up to throw the party and all we need to make it happen is your backyard. Passion Pit will be taking time out from playing alongside Plan B, Robyn and The Presets at Parklife to spin tunes at one lucky winner’s house for a night of dancing and debauchery.
Last on our shores in 2010 Michael Angelakos and co packed out rooms and had fans writhing on dancefloors to their cross-over hit ‘Little Secrets’, “Passion Pit’s final song was nothing short of amazing, the crowd chanting with exhilaration, ‘Higher and Higher’, thrusting their fingers to the ceiling as their feet left the floor.”
This year the band have returned with their critically acclaimed second album, Gossamer, described by NME as “frantically fantastical synthetica, permanently on emotional high alert, like a hormonal version of Sonic The Hedgehog.”
