Surry Hills Festival lineup2012

Surry Hills Festival takes over Prince Alfred Park on Saturday, October 27 with a lineup of bands and DJs that promises “something for every ear”.

The lineup boasts a headline set from Tijuana Cartel who will reveal their brand new song ‘Snappy Tom’ at the festival, plus performances from [aa.artist:Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire!], The Tongue, Nantes, True Vibenation, The Liberators and Mojo Juju. You’ll also be able to catch DJ sets from Alison Wonderland, Canyons, Purple Sneakers and the SOSUEME crew.

In addition to the two live music stages, Prince Alfred Park will be filled with market stalls, food outlets and themed outdoor bars. Festival Director Matt Grant says, “Surry Hills Festival just brings so much together in one day, different genres of music, markets, gourmet food, great little bars, amazing art, roving performances and so much that you just don’t see anywhere else, and the fact that it is the major fundraiser for Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre just makes it even better.”

Surry Hills Festival is the major fundraiser for the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre with the proceeds from the festival helping the centre fund vital services and community development programs in the local area.
