Soundwave Festival 2013 secondlineup

Soundwave Festival has announced a huge second lineup, less than a fortnight since confirming the 2013 event would be headlined by Metallica, Linkin Park, Blink 182, A Perfect Circle and Garbage.

The second lineup announcement adds Slayer, Cypress Hill, Bullet For My Valentine,
Bring Me the Horizon, Billy Talent, Fucked Up, Gallows and many more bands to the already huge lineup. The addition of Slayer alongside Metallica and Anthrax brings the festival even closer to presenting The Big Four – could we see another big announcement soon?

Due to the “unprecedented demand” for the festival’s pre-sale which kicked off on Wednesday, Soundwave boss AJ Maddah has said: “I would be amazed if Bris/Syd/Melb do not sell out instantly… Honestly [I think Sydney will sell out in] under an hour.” The impressive lineup is a one off for Soundwave’s ten year anniversary and Maddah says that “Next year will return to normal.”
