Rufus Wainwright tour
Sat 26th May, 2012 in Local News
The incomparable Rufus Wainwright is returning to Australia to tour with his full band tour in September.
Wainwright’s seventh studio album, Out of the Game, produced by Mark Ronson, is a return to a pop following the darker All Days Are Nights: Songs for Lulu and his live albums Milwaukee at Last!!! and Rufus Does Judy at Carnegie Hall.
Wainwright’s band will feature singer and songwriter Krystle Warren – who was here last November for “Way to Blue: The Songs of Nick Drake” – and songwriter Teddy Thompson. Krystle and Teddy will also be alternating as the opening act for the national run of dates.
