Coaster festival 2012cancelled
Wed 23rd May, 2012 in Local News
Coaster Festival has entertained the punters at the Godford Showgrounds for the past four years, but sadly the festival won’t be returning this year.
The festival posted a blunt statement on its Facebook wall last night to announe that “we wanted to let you know that we will not be running Coaster in 2012. We are looking to return sometime in the future and thank every single person who helped make Coaster so much fun to be a part of.”
The festival began in 2008 with a lineup including the The Living End, Kisschasy and COG and over the past few years has brought us sets from The Bronx, GZA, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Cypress Hill, and Silversun Pickups.
Last year’s edition of the festival was a more local affair with headline sets from John Butler Trio, Drapht and Little Red, plus the first show for Central Coast punks One Dollar Short since their 2005 hiatus.
