The Darkness to announceAustralian tour tomorrow

No longer are those rumours about The Darkness returning to our shores just a feeling (drifting away), with the glam metal band telling fans that an Aussie tour announcement is imminent.

The freshly reformed cat-suit lovers posted the following message on their Facebook wall over night: “Dear Australia. Keep your eyes and ears open for some interesting news unveiled this Tuesday. Its been a while coming, but the time is upon us where we should pay you some attention ‘down under.’ “

The Darkness were last on our shores in 2006, a mere four months before Hawkins was admitted to rehab and six months before tabloid paper The Sun revealed the singer had left the band to launch his ill-fated solo project British Whale.
