Bjork Australian tour forVivid Live 2012?

Sadly Vivid LIVE festival director Fergus Linehan has confirmed that “On this occasion, as you can see from her schedule, there are no plans for Bjork to perform at Sydney Opera House in 2012. Needless to say, we’d love to welcome her back at some stage in the future.” [via The Music Network ]
Could Australian tour dates be on the card for Bjork to headline Vivid LIVE 2012 at the Sydney Opera House? If a sneaky Google AdWords campaign is correct, the Icelandic songstress might be bringing her groundbreaking Biophilia project to Sydney as part of the 10 day celebration of ambitious popular music that runs from 25 May to 11 June 2012.
Google AdWords that pointed towards the Vivid LIVE website appeared yesterday correlated next to search terms on Google, including “Bjork Australian tour 2012”, “Bjork Australia” and “Bjork Vivid”. As of today, those AdWords terms had been switched off.
But it gives us a glimmer of hope that Bjork could be bringing the multimedia tour that the Guardian called “the future of the entire music industry” to Australia. According to her official tour dates, there is a gap between shows at Sonar in Brazil on May 12 and Primavera Sound Festival in Spain on May 30 where Bjork could squeeze in a few Opera House dates.
Last week we speculated on the clues in the teaser video, with some FL members commenting that the video looks “very Bjorkish”.
On top of the acts already announced, the official Vivid LIVE Line Up announcement happens this Thursday. Can we dare hope?
