Fu Manchu tour
Thu 23rd Feb, 2012 in Local News
It’s been over 10 years since Fu Manchu have ventured south of the equator, but they’ll finally be jumping on a plane at the end of April to right this wrong with an Australian tour.
Last year the band’s high octane shows focused on the fuzz of their 1996 album In Search Of and this year they’re digging into 1997’s The Action is Go so the tour is sure to be a real treat for stoner rock fans still living in the Southern Californian desert rock haze.
San Francisco’s heaviest sludge metal duo Black Cobra have the support slot on the tour and will also get to play two of their own headline shows in Melbourne and Geelong.
Fu Manchu tour:
Sunday 29th April – Cherry Rock, Melbourne
Monday 30th April – The Tote, Melbourne (Black Cobra only)
Tuesday 1st May – The National Hotel, Geelong (Black Cobra only)
Wednesday 2nd May – Fowlers, Adelaide
Thursday 3rd May – Hi Fi, Sydney
Friday 4th May – Hi Fi, Brisbane
Saturday 5th May – Rosemount Hotel, Perth
Sunday 6th May – Hi Fi, Melbourne
