Bleeding Knees Club tour
Wed 15th Feb, 2012 in Local News
Recently named by NME as one of the 100 New Bands To Watch in 2012 (alongside fellow Aussies Step Panther, World’s End Press and DZ Deathrays) Bleeding Knees Club are getting ready launch their debut album on the world.
That album, Nothing To Do, was produced by Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange and Lightspeed Champion) and is due out on the 2nd of March and according to the press release the record features “a raw ‘n’ urgent set of super-fun songs about girls, getting high, and sticking it to The Man”. So pretty much exactly what we’d expect from the band then.
To make sure we all have a chance to hear the songs live, the garage-pop duo is heading out on the road to play a lengthy run of shows that sees them venturing off the beaten track for their first shows in some regional areas and playing a pair of all ages matinee performances. Support on the tour will come from Dune Rats – aka Queensland’s ‘other’ bratty two piece that isn’t DZ Deathrays.
