DZ Deathrays tour

To celebrate the release of their debut album Bloodstreams, set to explode on the 6th of April, it’s time for the DZ Deathrays to head out for their first national headline tour since way back in early 2011.

Having paid their touring dues supporting Foo Fighters, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Crystal Castles, Fucked Up, Dananananaykroyd, Band of Skulls, Male Bonding and (the brilliantly named) Cerebral Ballzy, DZ Deathray’s album finally sees them settling into a studio long enough to lay down thirteen tracks with Richard Pike (of PVT) and Neil Coombe helping out on production.

The DZ duo also recently collaborated with producers The KickDrums and rapper Rockie Fresh on the track Want My Blood. The track is the lead single from The KickDrums forthcoming mixtape that features other collaborations other hype acts including ASAP Rocky and Lana Del Rey.

‘The Bloodstreams Tour’ sees DZ Deathrays joined by 12-piece garage party band Velociraptor the ‘other’ band for the DZ pair Simon Ridley and Shane Parsons for all shows (except the ones over in Western Australia)
