Bluesfest sideshows: Fogerty,John Butler, Blitzen Trapper

Legendary rocker John Fogerty has been announced as the headline act for Saturday night at Bluesfest 2012 and now the Creedence frontman has added a run of sideshows to his tour.
Fogerty will be performing two classic Creedence Clearwater Revival records – Green River and Cosmo’s Factory – in full plus a bonus set of songs from his Creedence days to his solo canon of hits.

Tuesday 27th March Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne (performing Cosmo’s Factory )
Thursday 29th March Entertainment Centre, Adelaide (performing Green River )
Sunday 1st April West Coast Blues & Roots, Fremantle (performing Cosmo’s Factory )
Tuesday 3rd April Entertainment Centre, Sydney (performing Green River )
Thursday 5th April Entertainment Centre, Brisbane (performing _Green River )
Saturday 7th April Bluesfest, Byron Bay (performing Cosmo’s Factory )
Tickets for the headline shows go on sale Monday 6th February
Many other Bluefest acts have also recently announced a run of sideshows including Portland based alt-country rockers Blitzen Trapper, Irish troubadour James Vincent McMorrow, Bob’s oldest son Ziggy Marley, Bluesfest mainstay John Butler (with and without his trio), Canned Heat and You’ve Got The Love singer Candi Staton.
In completely unrelated news Xavier Rudd has also announced a tour.
