Looking for the Groovin’ The Moo 2012 lineup – here it is!

Set alarms, jot something in your diary, stick a post-it-note on the fridge, or just bookmark this story – because next Tuesday 7th February, at what will probably be some God awful time of the morning, we will finally announce the 2012 Groovin’ The Moo lineup. Huzzah!

While there hasn’t been any solid rumours about who will be joining the Moo this May, Bluejuice have already self-confirmed and English indie rockers The Maccabees recently let slip that they will be Down Under “in a couple of months…for a travelling festival thing.”

Stay tuned to FasterLouder for the the lineup announcement on Tuesday 7th February.

Was talking to old mate trying to get predictions going like this is BDO or some shit. And unless the line-up is an especially-reformed R.E.M., Death Cab playing Transatlanticism and free gobbies from both Scarlett Johansson and Brendon Urie all day, I don't think I'll be jizzing too hard.

there was a thread about the Maccabees. It included GTM tour predictions made by fellow forumers. Thus, your argument of no-one caring is wrong, as people clearly care. But also predicting lineups sucks so the thread also sucks.

Do I have to make it clearer? Translate it to Jersey Shore?

GTM 2012 will have a heavier sound than last year, with "two key heavy acts" locked in.
Two international acts are locked in who have "never been to Australia before".
The two biggest profile acts on the bill are Australian and international.

Not A Day On The Green either, with the lousy weather here in QLD it would end up cancelled like the Blondie/Pretenders gig.

I think PABH is a pretty good guess but Kaiser Chiefs?

They have already toured here on this album cycle, it's not like The Future is Medieval is still flying off the shelves.

- tickets are 99.90 for general sale, "secret pre-sale" price for people who got the email (im going to guess $10 cheaper)

Bendido sold out pretty quick last year & threw me off guard, think it will be another quick one this year for bendigo & maitland I'm talking like a week or 2 though not within a day or 2
